Our Product Testing Procedure

We conduct 13 comprehensive tests to achieve high quality and precision in our industrial parts and components. Here are a few of the tests we perform.

CMM

In accordance with our strict quality procedures, this testing uses a CMM to measure CNC machined parts, die cast parts, forged parts and stamped parts to an accuracy of ±0.01 mm and remove rejected parts.

Hardness Tester

To ensure quality, custom machined parts like gears and shafts are subjected to a hardness test at 65 to 90 Rockwell scale for about 1.5 hours to identify any defects.

Image Measurement Instrument

The image measurement instrument is used to evaluate the dimensional accuracy of CNC machined parts, die casting parts, forging parts, and stamping parts. The items are scanned for precision, measuring features such as hole distances, R Angles (Radius Angles), angles, chamfers, and other geometrical dimensions, and compared against design specifications for about an hour.

Digital Caliper

We measure our CNC machined parts, die casting parts, forging parts, and stamping parts with a digital caliper for about 2 hours to check their quality and accuracy. Our QC team carefully eliminates all the defective parts.

Roughness Tester

Our CNC machined parts, die casting parts, forging parts, and stamping parts are designed for high precision. To chek their surface quality, we use roughness tester to measure various parameters, including Ra (average roughness), Rz (average peak-to-valley height), and Rt (total height of the profile).

Contour Measuring Machine

After production, all of our CNC machined parts, die casting parts, forging parts, and stamping parts are subjected to range from a few seconds to several minutes contour measuring test to identify any defects. Our QC team critically examines the dimensional accuracy and surface contours of the final units.

Quality Control Procedure

At Onlyindustries, quality is at the heart of everything we do. Our quality control protocol is rigorous and encompasses the entire process, from inception to completion.

01

Sample Stage

  1. Approval and Documentation
  • Confirm and finalize production drawings with the customer, obtaining their approval before proceeding with sampling.
  • Design and confirm packaging requirements and material specifications based on the product.

      2. Sample Preparation and Timeline

  • Agree on the sample delivery date and quantity with the customer, producing extra samples for reference.
  • Perform a full-size and surface inspection based on the production drawings once the samples are completed.
  • Provide a self-inspection report and a material report before sending samples. For special materials or upon customer request, a third-party composition analysis report can be provided as required.

     3. Material Reports

  • Material reports from raw material suppliers include information on elemental composition, dimensions, grade, and mechanical properties, ensuring the samples meet specified standards.

02

Generation Stage

  1. Bulk Production Preparation
  • After sample approval, initiate bulk production and confirm the delivery date, estimated volume, and weight with the customer.
  • Agree on the acceptable range of completed quantities, generally ±5% of the order.

    2. Production Schedule

  • Create a detailed production process schedule for the customer, listing timelines for material procurement, processing, welding, surface treatment, packaging, and inspection, and adjust the schedule based on the specific product.

      3. Process Control

  • Implement process control measures, including first inspection, middle inspection, and sampling inspection, to ensure product quality during production. Maintain detailed records of all inspections and quality checks.
  • Conduct thorough first article inspections, especially for products requiring mold creation, ensuring compliance with customer specifications.

03

After Delivery

  1. Final Inspection and Testing
  • Ensure that the packing weight and outer packaging meet customer requirements before the final inspection.
  • Perform final inspections according to production drawings, retaining samples and inspection records. Provide customers with final inspection reports and material reports before shipment. Third-party inspection reports are available if required.

    2. Packaging and Labeling

  • Label each carton with a sticker containing the customer’s PO number, product description, part number, quantity, weight, and other relevant information.
  • Follow export packaging standards for different countries to ensure compliance and protection during transit.

      3. Customer Feedback and Continuous Improvement

  • After delivery, gather customer feedback on the received products, focusing on quality, delivery timelines, and packaging.
  • Use customer feedback to improve processes and address any issues identified during the sample and generation stages.
  • Maintain open communication with customers to ensure ongoing satisfaction and to make any necessary adjustments to future production runs.
